Student's experiences

Ana Senicic

I finished my fourth year of high school in USA and after being away from home for such a long time, I wanted to stay in Serbia for a while. The only issue bothering me was the choice of college I soon had to make.
In the end of June, I saw an ESB ad in the papers and was extremely thrilled to know that such a college actually exists in Belgrade!

The features that, basically, made me choose ESB, were the cooperation between ESB and Universities from Great Britain, classes in English and the graduate diploma which is acknowledged in many countries outside Serbia and Montenegro.

I chose the program for The Graduate Diploma in Marketing, as the subject and the topic in general, seemed very appealing to me.
Of course, every major decision in life necessarily draws some doubts with it. Questions such as “What if..?”, “Maybe I should have….?”, “Why didn’t I…?” are very likely to pop into your head, while the decision you’ve made is still fresh in your mind.

Still, after 4 finished trimesters, I can say, with most certainty that ESB was the right choice for me and that most of my expectations are fulfilled.

Extreme quality text books, professors always ready to assist you, interactive classes, internship, made this unique educational institution in Serbia worth my time and effort.

I firmly believe that I should be getting my Graduate Diploma in June 2005, as all my efforts are geared towards it.
Hopefully, I will be continuing my studies in Canada, where I want to try and major in Design in Advertising.

Still, I leave all my options blank, as it is very possible that after getting your Graduate Diploma at ESB, one finds a job, starts building a professional career and a path to independence, which is, generally, a dream that everyone of us is dreaming.

And remember “Education at ESB IS a privilege!”

I have always felt some kind of hesitation about signing up for one of our faculties at the University of Belgrade. I think that it was the uncertainty about the job and the job position after 5-year hard work...

I finished ESB (marketing major) fairly quickly, passing all exams on time, learning and sharing new experiences, expanding my business English vocabulary by way of interesting lectures, and I got a job at the Societe Generale bank in Belgrade, as a clerk, later promoted to the position of Account Officer for retail clients...
